Commonwealth Bank Travel Money Card
The Commonwealth Bank Travel Money Card can be purchased from any Commonwealth Bank branch or online via NetBank (online banking for Commonwealth Bank customers).

Available currencies on the Comm Bank Travel Card:

Currencies available on CBA’s Travel Money Card include:
- United States Dollars (USD)
- Euros (EUR)
- Great British Pounds (GBP)
- Australian Dollars (AUD)
- Japanese Yen (JPY)
- New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
- Hong Kong Dollars (HKD)
- Canadian Dollars (CAD)
- Singapore Dollars (SGD).
How to put money on your CBA Travel Card
You are able to load your Commonwealth Bank Travel Money Card by depositing cash in branch, direct debit from your nominated account (doesn’t have to be a CBA account), cash advance from your credit card (not necessarily a wise move!) or debit from your savings account.
How to reload your CBA Travel Money Card:
If in Australia, you can reload your Travel Money Card at any CBA branch or alternatively via BPAY in your online banking. The BPAY code is 113167 and the 16 digits on the front of your travel money card as the reference number. BPAY can take up to three days to be acknowledged, so factor this in when reloading your travel money card.
There is a minimum of $200AUD or the equivalent in your foreign currency each time you reload. In saying that, the maximum you can store on your travel money card is $25,000AUD or foreign equivalent at any one time.
The Commonwealth Bank Travel Money Card will expire after a total of three years. You are welcome to reload as many times as you like within that period, though will have to replace the card come expiry date.
